The Teams Notifications App connects your Shopify store with Microsoft Teams. It allows you to automatically send notifications about specific store events to one or more Teams channels.

This is done via the Microsoft Workflows App in Teams and a custom-generated Webhook URL. This way, you and your team will always stay informed about important events in your store – directly inside your Teams channel.

To send automated messages to a Microsoft Teams channel (as this Shopify app does), a business, school, or university Microsoft Teams account is required. Use of a private Microsoft account is not supported by Teams for this use case.

Before using the app, you need to install the Workflows App in Microsoft Teams and set up a Webhook.

1. Open Microsoft Teams.
2. Go to Apps in the left sidebar.
3. Search for Workflows.
4. Click Add and install the app.

After installing the Workflows App:

1. Open the Teams channel where you want to receive notifications.
2. Create a new incoming Webhook using the Workflows App.
3. Copy the generated Webhook URL.
4. This URL will later be entered in the Shopify app.

1. In your Shopify admin area, open the Teams Notifications App.
2. Enter the following information in the form:

3. Then select the events you want to receive notifications for. Each can be individually enabled or disabled using the checkboxes.

The app currently supports the following Shopify events:

Each event can be individually subscribed or unsubscribed using the checkboxes.

Once you’ve filled in all fields and selected your desired notifications:

• Click Save
• Your configuration will be stored
• The app will automatically start sending events to your Teams Webhook URL

The following image shows the settings page of the app in Shopify:

• The Webhook URL must be valid and reachable for messages to be delivered successfully.
• Any changes to the Teams Webhook URL must be saved again in the app.
• The app currently supports only one Webhook per store.
